I Am Special

Last week we read the poem:

I am special

I am me

No one in the world

Is just like me

Then we made people to look like ourselves and placed them around an earth on our bulletin board.

Beginning Week Two

We started our second week of school today. The boys and girls predicted what our reading story will be about by erasing the SMART Board a little at a time to reveal a hidden picture. We worked on writing numbers in math and discussed the long o sound in phonics. This afternoon we worked on the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom trees we painted with Mrs. Beard last week. Everyone made themselves climbing the tree to see something that begins like their name. Most of us will finish them tomorrow.
