Happy Easter! I checked the eggs this morning and was greeted by one very newly hatched duck and one almost there. The rest continue to look good. Looks like you'll have lots of little quackers to greet you on Tuesday morning boys and girls!! I was lucky enough to catch the second one as he was actually hatching. I'll keep you updated later today.

We Have Babies!
Happy Easter! I checked the eggs this morning and was greeted by one very newly hatched duck and one almost there. The rest continue to look good. We're Hatching
Our class has been taking care of 10 duck eggs in an incubator in our classroom. According to our dates the ducks should hatch next Tuesday when we return to school from our Easter break. When I went to check the eggs this morning I found that 9 of the 10 eggs had begun the hatching process. As of 6:00 this evening they were all still doing fine but no ducks had hatched. If you listen carefully to the video you can hear the ducks pecking their way out. You can also hear them cheeping inside the eggs. Looks like we may have Easter ducks.
