Oreo Day 2012

We had lots of fun on Friday morning stacking Oreos, sculpting with them and of course eating Oreos. Thanks so much to our parents her came to help and the families that sent Oreos for our activities. We couldn't have done it without all of you!! This is part of a project sponsored by Jen Wagner in her Projects By Jen website. As of today almost 10,000 students from around the world have participated this year. Our winning stacker was Duke.

Korbin--Guest Reader

We enjoyed our guest reader, Korbin, reading Little Critter's Pirate book today. He did a great job! He is in second grade now and came back to visit and share a book with us.

Ants 2012

We had fun learning all about ants in first grade. At the end of the week the boys and girls all made a page using Pixie3 to share something they learned about ants.

We Can "BEE" Proactive

This month we are talking about "BEEing" Proactive and working together to be bucket fillers. We painted our hands to make bees and hang in the hall with bees from all the other classrooms.
