Cat Kisses

Our first choral reading for the year, Cat Kisses. First we played Guess the Covered Word while we practiced the poem several times and tried to use clues from the context of the poem as well as beginning sounds to discover several missing words. Then we made cat puppets and practiced reading the poem in groups.

We made cat puppets to use to read the poem Sandpaper Kisses in our reading book. We had lots of fun making them and having them recite the poem with.

Last week we read the poem Sandpaper Kisses in our reading book. The boys and girls each made their own cat bag puppet and we recorded them reciting the poem with their puppets.
