Planet Earth
During Earth Day week we discussed many ways we could help the Earth. Last week we read some books about Earth and watched a video clip about the Earth. We read The Important book and then used the pattern of writing to write about what is important about our Earth. Then we put it together with an art activity. Busy Bees
Last week our reading story was Busy Buzzy Bee. We learned lots about bees. Local beekeeper, Von Meeks, came to school spoke to the children about how he works with the bees. The boys and girls all wrote a report about the facts they had learned and added it to a project.
